David Parsons

David Parsons brings over two decades of experience in the fire service, currently serving as Fire Chief for the City of Oceanside since May 2001, where David has also held positions as Acting Deputy Chief, Division Chief, Fire Captain, and Firefighter/Paramedic. Prior to this, David worked as a Firefighter Paramedic for CAL FIRE and as a Firefighter/Paramedic with Rural/Metro Corporation. David's educational background includes a Master's degree in Emergency and Disaster Management from American Military University, a Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences from the University of Arizona, and an Associate's degree in Nursing from Excelsior University. Additionally, David has completed a Bachelor of Science in Health Services from the University of Arizona.
