Manuel's most recent work experience has been with the City of Pasadena, where they have held various roles, including Acting Director of Public Health, Deputy Director of Public Health, and Management Analyst in both the Public Health and Public Works departments. In these positions, they have been responsible for fiscal operations, budget management, and human resource coordination.
Manuel Carmona completed their Executive Master of Public Health degree from the University of Washington School of Public Health in 2023. Prior to that, they obtained a Masters degree in Public Administration from the University of Southern California from 2004 to 2006.
