Ryan Bell is an experienced organizer and leader in tenant rights and community engagement. Currently serving as the Southern California Regional Coordinator for Tenants Together, Ryan collaborates with various organizations to support tenant unions and influence public policy related to tenants' rights in California. In addition, Ryan serves as the Chair of the Pasadena Rental Housing Board and has a background in grassroots activism, demonstrated through the role of Campaign Finance Director for Measure H - Pasadena for Rent Control. Ryan is the founder of Life After God, which aims to empower individuals navigating life after religious faith, and hosts a related podcast featuring discussions on faith transitions. Previous roles include National Organizing Manager for the Secular Student Alliance, Humanist Chaplain at the University of Southern California, and Director of Community Engagement at People Assisting The Homeless. Ryan holds advanced degrees in Theology and Missional Leadership from Andrews University and Fuller Theological Seminary, respectively, along with a Bachelor's Degree in Pastoral Ministry.
