Panini Amin Chowdhury

Panini Amin Chowdhury, AICP, RSP, currently serves as the Senior Transportation Planning Manager for the City of Pittsburgh, managing projects focused on complete street implementation and active mobility improvement plans. Chowdhury is also a Gubernatorial Appointee to the Pedalcycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. Previous experience includes roles as Transportation Engineer at the BHJ Metropolitan Planning Commission, Traffic Intern at the Toledo Metropolitan Area Council of Government, and Transportation Specialist for The World Bank, among others. Chowdhury holds a Master of Arts in Geography and Planning from The University of Toledo and a Bachelor's degree in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning from Chittagong University of Engineering & Technology.
