James Wright

James Wright is a highly experienced video production specialist currently working for the City of Portland since October 2017, providing comprehensive production services for training and marketing purposes. Prior to this role, James worked as a producer for American Idol Productions and has held senior content producer positions at Pond5, where responsibilities included content creation for online platforms. James also has extensive experience in reality television production, having acted as an associate producer for So You Think You Can Dance and a producer for American Idol. Early career highlights include serving as the Director of Operations for the CineVegas Film Festival, where event scheduling and departmental management were key duties. James holds a degree in Film Studies from UNLV and has pursued additional education at Emerson College.
