Joe Dvorak

Joe Dvorak serves as the Treatment and Pumping O&M Group Manager for the City of Portland's Bureau of Environmental Services since December 2014, overseeing plant and pump station operations and maintenance. In addition to management responsibilities, Joe represents the City of Portland on the Civil Engineering Cooperative Program (CECOP) board, facilitating student internships and mentorships. Previous roles include Engineering Manager for Collection System Operations, Engineering Manager for sewer and stormwater design, and Senior Engineer at Clean Water Services. Academically, Joe holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Colorado State University and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Portland, where Joe has also taught as an adjunct instructor in Water Resources Engineering. Current engagements include serving as a Technical Writing Evaluator for Oregon State University.
