Iaritza Menjivar

Iaritza Menjivar is an experienced Event and Public Art Coordinator at the City of Somerville since February 2020, contributing to community engagement through public art initiatives. Iaritza has also been a freelancer since July 2015, specializing in event photography for corporate, weddings, and other events while providing tutoring in Lightroom and Photoshop, as well as managing social media. Previously, Iaritza held positions such as Associate Director at The Griffin Museum of Photography and roles in social media marketing and gallery assistance at Digital Silver Imaging and The Griffin Museum of Photography. Early career experience includes a gallery internship at Robert Klein Gallery and a photography internship at the Massachusetts State House. Iaritza holds a Bachelor's Degree in Photography from Lesley University, awarded in 2015.
