Kevin Hatcher

Kevin Hatcher is an experienced mechanical engineer and facilities manager currently serving as the Green Building Facilities Manager for the City of Somerville since September 2023. With a diverse background, Kevin has worked in various roles, including Bike Technician at Jra Cycles and Guide for DuVine Cycling + Adventure Co., where responsibilities included logistics and client guiding for bike tours. Previous positions include Mechanical Project Engineer at Fitzemeyer & Tocci, Mechanical Commissioning Engineer in Training at AKF Group, and Mechanical Design Engineer at SMMA. Kevin also dedicated a six-month sabbatical to volunteer work with Habitat for Humanity in Indonesia while expanding a photography portfolio during time spent in Iceland. Educational qualifications include a Mechanical Engineering (Hons) degree from Edinburgh Napier University, completed in 2001.
