Shaini Mathew

Shaini Mathew, CPA, currently serves as the University Executive Director of Internal Audit and Management Services at The City University of New York, a position held since June 2021. Prior to this role, Shaini held the position of Director of Internal Audit at Mercy College from July 2012 to May 2021, focusing on establishing departmental strategies and developing annual audit plans. Shaini's experience also includes roles such as Sr. Financial Accountant at USI, Consultant at General Atlantic, Manager of Internal Audit at Pernod Ricard, and Senior Associate at PwC, where expertise was gained in areas such as consolidations, mergers and acquisitions, risk management, and compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley regulations. Shaini holds a BS in Accounting and Finance from the University at Buffalo, graduated in 2000.
