Cole Laplante

Cole LaPlante is currently a Teaching Fellow at City Year, simultaneously pursuing a Master's in Secondary Education at UMass Boston while student teaching in 10th grade SEI Geometry at Brighton High School. Previously, Cole served as a Student Success Coach at Charlestown High School, providing academic support in math and organizing school events. At Colby College, Cole was a Student Advisory Group Member for libraries, improving student experiences, and worked as a Facilities Stockroom Assistant. Additionally, Cole was a Data Captain for Jared Golden for Congress, targeting constituents and strategizing canvassing efforts, and interned with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, researching legislative issues. Cole's earlier experience includes being a Lead Counselor at Star Camps, overseeing staff and ensuring a positive environment for youth sports. Cole LaPlante holds a Bachelor of Arts in Government from Colby College and is expected to complete a Master of Education in 2025 at UMass Boston.
