Nico Palotie

Nico Palotie is an accomplished finance professional with significant experience in cash management and treasury operations. Currently serving as Cash Manager at Citycon since October 2020, Nico is responsible for the group's short-term cash management, Treasury-related payments, intercompany loan management, back-office operations, overall payment traffic oversight, and FX risk management. Previously, Nico held positions at Amer Sports Corporation from May 2017 to January 2020, working as a Treasury Specialist and serving as a substitute Cash Manager, where responsibilities included managing global liquidity, short-term financing, cash forecasting, and netting implementation. Nico's early work experience includes lifeguard roles at the City of Helsinki and Urheiluhallit/Mäkelänrinne Swimming Centre, focused on safety and customer service. Nico holds a Master's degree in Finance and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance, both from the University of Vaasa.
