David Tomalin

David Tomalin is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in the telecommunications and technology sectors. Currently serving as Group Chief Technology Officer and Head of Engineering at CityFibre since February 2016, Tomalin previously held key roles at EvoTech Consulting Ltd as Solutions Architect and at Ciena as EMEA CTO, where responsibilities included integrating sales engineering and product groups. As Chief Technology Officer at euNetworks, strategic direction and technology implementation were prioritized to maximize asset potential, while at Level3 Communications, significant achievements included core network cost reduction and capacity doubling. Tomalin's career began at NTL UK, focusing on system engineering and operations management. Tomalin holds a BSc in Physics Space Science and Technology from the University of Kent.
