Kevin Long has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Kevin started their career at International Paper Company in 1995 as a Staff Scientist, where they were responsible for process controls development and new product development. In 2001, they worked as a Business Development Analyst at Intellisense Corporation. Kevin then joined Danaher Corporation in 2003 and held various positions, including Senior Product Manager, Segment Manager, Danaher Business Systems Leader, and Director of Procurement and Global Supply Chain. From 2008 to 2010, they were the Vice President and General Manager at Hearth & Home Technologies. From 2010 to 2014, they worked at Danaher again as Vice-President of Operations & Customer Care and later as the Global Vice-President of Customer Care for KaVo-Kerr Group. After that, they were the President of CPC - Colder Products Company from 2014 to 2017, and currently, they serve as the President of OPW, a Dover Company since 2017.
Kevin Long has a strong academic background in the field of mechanical engineering. Kevin earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University from 1988 to 1993. Kevin further pursued their education at the same institution, completing their Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from 1993 to 1995. Kevin went on to broaden their knowledge in business by attending the MIT Sloan School of Management from 2000 to 2002, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.
