Currently employed at Civiltech Engineering, Inc. since May 2019, John previously worked as a Landscape Architectural Designer at Mills Design Group and held positions at Green Grass, Inc. and Hursthouse Landscape Architects and Contractors as a Landscape Designer and Summer Intern, respectively. John's expertise in the green roof industry was developed through a role as a Horticulturist at Bennett & Brosseau Roofing, Inc. and internships at Plant Environmental Research Center and Chicago Botanic Gardens. Education includes a Master's of Landscape Architecture from Colorado State University, a degree in Plant, Soil, and Agricultural Systems from Southern Illinois University, and a BA in Geology from the same institution.
