Nick VanderZwan is an experienced project manager and engineer with a strong background in civil and traffic engineering. Currently employed at Civiltech Engineering, Inc. as a Project Manager since February 2021, Nick has previously held positions including Senior Engineer at Peoples Gas and Traffic Engineer at Knight E/A, Inc. Nick's experience also includes significant roles at Collins Engineers, Inc., Redflex Traffic Systems, Inc., and as a Transportation Planner II for the City of Madison. With a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Iowa, Nick has contributed to various projects involving intelligent transportation systems, traffic analysis, and municipal infrastructure design. Notable achievements include managing the design and construction of red light camera systems across multiple cities and conducting traffic studies to recommend improvements for urban mobility.
