Shrikant Pawar Ms

Shrikant Pawar MS, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor (Tenure-track) in the Department of Computer Science with a joint appointment in Biology at Claflin University since 2022, where responsibilities include serving as course coordinator for the Bioinformatics major. As a Co-Founder of ChestAi, Shrikant is involved in developing a free and open-source platform for the diagnosis of pathologies through radiological examinations, collaborating with scientists from Yale University. Prior experience includes roles as a Research Affiliate at Yale University School of Medicine, Associate Research Scientist at Yale University, and Co-Founder of Georgia Research Consulting (GRC) LLC, focusing on research and training in STEM studies. Shrikant holds a Ph.D. in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology, multiple master's degrees, and has contributed to various organizations, including Karyosoft LLC and Georgia State University, refining expertise in data science, web development, and educational instruction in molecular genetics.
