Dorothee Gabel

Dorothee Gabel currently serves as the Global Application Development Manager at Clariant Produkte Deutschland GmbH, holding this position since November 2014 and leading a team of three technicians. In this role, Dorothee has focused on the development of polymeric dispersing agents and reactive emulsifiers for emulsion polymerization, while also managing intellectual property and projects. Prior experience includes serving as a Scientist in the Competence Center Specialty Polymers, leading R&D projects in various sectors. Dorothee holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from New York University, completed in 2014, as well as a Diplom in Biomedical Chemistry from Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, obtained in 2010. Additionally, Dorothee gained research experience as a Research Associate at Brookhaven National Laboratory in 2008.
