Fabio Granitzio

Fabio Granitzio is an experienced geologist and mining professional with a substantial background in exploration and operations management. Currently serving as the Head of Regional Exploration EMEA and Head of Operations Italy for Clariant since October 2018, Fabio has previously held key positions including Exploration Manager at Alta Zinc Limited and Group Exploration Manager at Kefi Minerals PLC (G&M JV). Earlier roles include Senior Geologist at Minerali Industriali S.r.l. and Mining Manager/Geologist at Societa' Sarda di Bentonite Spa. Fabio started the career as an Exploration Geologist with Gold Mines of Sardinia Pty. Ltd. and worked as a Contract Geologist for Minera Escondida ltda. Fabio holds a PhD in Mining Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Geology/Earth Science from Università degli Studi di Cagliari.
