The Associate Consultant role sits within the Transition part of Consulting team in our fast-paced fintech organisation, Class Limited.

As an Associate Consultant, your primary responsibility is the migration of compliance and financial information of SMSFs, trusts, personal portfolios, companies, and other entities to Class platform, including reconciling your work against financial reports. You will also be exposed to the onboarding lifecycle of new clients to our cloud-based platforms, as well as customer success initiatives to review and improve feature take-up by existing customers.

This role is based in our Sydney CBD office and offers the opportunity to work from home up to 3 days per week.

What you'll do:

  • Migrating information onto the Class app for SMSFs, trusts, personal portfolios, companies, and other entities in accordance with Class’ privacy policies.
  • Import completed information into Class software (Information will include but not limited to bank balances, member/equity balances, holding balances, preservation details, tax components, asset acquisition details and asset cost base adjustments).
  • Review and reconcile information provided by clients.
  • Complete any of the remedial services offered by the transitions team promptly when required.
  • Liaise with clients and assist with the collation of information required to transition funds and/or feeds identification.
  • Assist with resolving transition tickets on the Zendesk platform involving issues raised by clients and taking day-to-day inbound calls from clients with transition queries.
  • Assist the Consulting Team Leader to prepare management reports and WIP reports for Outsource partners.

What you'll need:

  • Formal degree qualifications in Accounting / Finance / Business.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong experience dealing directly with customers to resolve business problems, with professional customer service skills.
  • Intermediate to Advanced working knowledge of MS Office in particular MS Excel.
  • Experience working in accounting practices/banking or large administrators (desirable).
  • Experience in the IT/Software Services industry (desirable).
  • Knowledge of Australian Superannuation and Trust legislation and practices.
