Gonzalo Aguilar Málaga has held various roles in the education sector since 2015. In 2015, they co-founded Check Tutoring, an in-person tutoring service for middle and high school students. In 2016, they interned with the Chairman of Grupo APOYO, where they were responsible for the 40th-anniversary educational project. In 2018, they co-founded and served as CEO of Check, an adaptive learning platform for maths and science that was acquired by Grupo SM in 2020. In 2020, they co-founded and served as CEO of Prendea, an online after-school classes provider for Spanish-speaking kids in Latin America. In 2022, they will begin their role as Product Lead at ClassDojo.
Gonzalo Aguilar Málaga obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Universidad del Pacífico (PE) between 2014 and 2018. Gonzalo is currently enrolled in Y Combinator's W21 program.
