Matthew Riley has worked in a variety of roles across multiple companies. Matthew began their career in 2008 as an Associate at Weiss Asset Management, where they managed asset allocation, created algorithms for trade allocation, and negotiated with brokers to reduce stock borrowing costs. In 2011, they joined Zynga as a Product Manager and Data Analyst, where they led a multi-disciplinary team and drove product strategy and roadmap for simultaneous features. In 2012, they moved to Fiksu as a Senior Product Manager, where they redesigned the user onboarding flow to increase the revenue generating user base by 100%. Matthew then returned to Proletariat Inc. in 2013 as Head of Product, where they were responsible for customer user experience, monetization strategy, user acquisition, and analytics. In 2017, Matthew joined Microsoft as a Principal Product Manager, where they drove growth of Mixer, Microsoft's platform for live game-streaming. In 2020, they returned to Proletariat Inc. as a Principal Product Manager, leading monetization on Spellbreak and growing a team of analysts and PMs. Finally, in 2021, they joined ClassDojo as a Product Lead.
Matthew Riley received their M.A. and B.A. in Economics and Mathematics from Boston University between 2005 and 2008.
