Hamed Mehryar

Hamed Mehryar has a strong background in software engineering, with experience in various roles and industries. Hamed is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Classy. Prior to this, they held the same position at BBC Studios.

Before joining BBC Studios, Hamed worked at Aidrivers Ltd. as a Senior Software Engineer (Autonomy), where they led a team of three software engineers in developing virtual simulation environments to test the functionality of different microservices involved in enabling vehicle autonomy. Hamed was responsible for designing the architecture of the simulation systems and ensuring the implementation of suitable design patterns and best practices. Hamed also monitored the code repository to ensure clean coding, TDD, and CI/CD principles were observed.

Hamed also has experience as a Software Development Lead at NETLINKS LTD. In this role, they led sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives and managed product backlogs. Hamed coached team members on Agile methodologies and inspired organizational change. Hamed also trained and led a team of eight developers, resolving any issues and applying best practices. Prior to their leadership role, Hamed worked as a Senior Software Engineer at NETLINKS LTD, where they worked closely with clients to establish problem specifications and system designs. Hamed contributed to the development of the Knowledge Management Platform for the Promote (USAID) Project and the ID Card Issuance System for the Ministry of Defense and Ministry of Interiors of Afghanistan.

Hamed's earlier experience includes working as a Software Developer at ADRAS, where they developed a Geo-Client Web Application, a Map-Gallery Android application, and a Mobile Reporting module for the Afghanistan Information Management System (NIMS).

Hamed Mehryar earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Kabul University, a prestigious institution, where they studied from 2010 to 2013. Hamed later pursued a Master's degree in Technology and Innovation Management from Brunel University London, which they completed in 2021.

In addition to their formal education, Hamed Mehryar has obtained multiple certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. Hamed obtained certifications such as "Building Trust," "Learning to Be Approachable," and "Interpersonal Communication" from LinkedIn in 2023. Hamed also completed the "Cert Prep: PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)" certification in 2021. Furthermore, they have obtained numerous certifications related to programming and software development, including "JavaScript: Best Practices for Functions and Classes," "Learning Functional Programming with JavaScript ES6+," "AWS Essential Training for Developers," and "Learning ASP.NET Core MVC." These certifications were obtained from LinkedIn between 2019 and 2020.

In 2017, Hamed Mehryar also completed the "LEADERSHIP – A UNIQUE PROSPECTIVE" certification from CELA - Central Eurasia Leadership Alliance.
