Spencer Priest

Spencer Priest has a diverse work experience in various industries. Spencer started their career as a Public Relations Intern at Saxum in 2008, where they gained hands-on experience in research, press releases, and event organization. Spencer then worked as an Admissions/Development Student Employee at Point Loma Nazarene University from 2006 to 2009. In 2009, they became an Admissions Counselor at the University of Phoenix.

From 2009 to 2011, Spencer worked as a Front Desk Agent and Concierge at Davidson Hotels & Resorts. Spencer then joined Hilton Worldwide as a Front Office Manager from 2011 to 2015, before taking on the role of Guest Service Manager from 2015 to 2016. During this time, they gained experience in guest service and hotel management.

In 2015, Spencer embarked on a personal challenge and hiked 2,650 miles from Mexico to Canada on the Pacific Crest Trail. This experience taught him valuable skills such as persistence, strategic planning, flexibility, problem-solving, and budget management.

After completing the trail, Spencer joined BARTELL HOTELS as a Front Desk Manager from 2016 to 2019. Spencer played a key role in improving the hotel's TripAdvisor ranking and was responsible for various tasks including hiring and training staff.

From 2019 to 2021, Spencer worked as a Front Office Manager/Director at InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG®). Spencer then joined Classy.org in 2021, initially as a Customer Care Rep, and later transitioning to the role of Enterprise Product Support Specialist in 2022.

Overall, Spencer Priest has gained a wide range of skills and experiences in customer service, hotel management, admissions counseling, and outdoor challenges like long-distance hiking.

Spencer Priest attended Point Loma Nazarene University from 2005 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Writing and Public Relations.
