Julia Govberg

Julia Govberg is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the startup and investment sectors. Currently serving as Chief of Staff at Clay since February 2025, Julia previously held the same position at First Round Capital from January 2020 to February 2025, where contributions included evaluating new investments, running diligence processes, and supporting partner initiatives. Julia led the Community team at First Round, overseeing strategic initiatives like the 'Fast Track' mentorship program and other community-building efforts. Julia's earlier roles included positions in revenue strategy at eBay and platform services at First Round, along with teaching technology education to students at BSD Education. Julia holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics with a focus on Accounting and Real Estate from The Wharton School.
