Clayton Early Learning
Amanda McSweeney is an experienced education professional with a strong focus on early childhood development. Since July 2015, Amanda has served as an Education Mentor Coach at Clayton Early Learning. In addition, since August 2014, Amanda has worked as a Family Support Specialist Intern at Family Focus, where responsibilities include home visitation to support child development and family goal setting. Prior roles include First Grade Teacher at East Chicago Lighthouse Charter School from August 2011 to June 2013, and Corps Member Advisor with Teach For America from April 2010 to August 2011. Amanda also taught PreK at Einstein Charter School from August 2008 to June 2011. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Early Childhood Development from Erikson Institute (2013-2015) and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Notre Dame (2004-2008).
