Ajay Gurung, PhD, is a Senior Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in thermal management and heat transfer technologies. Currently at Clean Energy since January 2022, Ajay previously worked as a Process Engineer and Mechanical Design Engineer at Applied LNG from April 2015 to January 2022. Academic training includes a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington, where Ajay contributed to significant advancements in boiling heat transfer, spray and jet-impingement cooling techniques, and thermal interface materials during tenure as a Graduate Research Assistant from August 2009 to December 2014. Ajay's research also includes an R&D internship at GE Global Research, focusing on thermal characterization and energy storage solutions, further showcasing expertise in the mechanical engineering field.
