Sona Coffee

Sona Coffee is an experienced environmental professional currently serving as the Senior Program Manager for the Clean Power Alliance, focusing on the development of a Local Government Program to enhance clean energy initiatives in Los Angeles and Ventura Counties. Previously, Sona held the role of Environmental Programs Administrator for the City of Irvine, where significant contributions included the creation of the first Climate Action and Adaptation Plan and the facilitation of the "Cool Irvine" climate initiative aimed at achieving carbon neutrality by 2030. Additionally, Sona was the Environmental Programs Manager for the City of Manhattan Beach, leading sustainability efforts, and served as a Senior Analyst at the U.S. Government Accountability Office. Early career experience includes working as a Storm Water Division Program Intern at the Los Angeles Regional Water Quality Control Board. Sona holds a Master's degree in Public Policy with a specialization in Environmental Policy and a Bachelor of Science in Public Policy and Environmental Science, both from the University of Southern California.
