Meg Johnson

Meg Johnson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in operations and project management within the renewable energy sector. Currently serving as the Director of Operations for Generation at CleanChoice Energy since February 2024, Meg previously held multiple leadership positions at Pine Gate Renewables from April 2018 to January 2024, including Director of Business Process and Director of Development Project Management. Earlier experience includes roles at the University of North Carolina at Asheville as Assistant Director & Community Director in Residential Education and Community Director, as well as Residence Director at Appalachian State University. Meg started a career in training and organization at Firebirds Wood Fired Grill and served as Outcome Measures & Report Coordinator at Charlotte Rescue Mission. Academically, Meg holds a Master's Degree in College Student Development and Student Affairs from Appalachian State University and three Bachelor's Degrees in Psychology from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
