Alan Silverman has extensive experience in sales and management within the genomics and biotechnology sectors, currently serving as Area Sales Manager for Clear Labs since July 2025, where responsibilities include promoting in-sourcing of precision medicine and food safety through end-to-end next-generation sequencing (NGS). Prior roles include Regional Sequencing Specialist at Oxford Nanopore Technologies, where Alan contributed to the adoption of Direct DNA and RNA sequencing, and Genomic Enablement Manager at Illumina, focusing on oncology and comprehensive genomic profiling. With a career spanning over two decades, Alan's background includes positions at leading organizations such as MD Anderson Cancer Center, Thermo Fisher Scientific, Affymetrix, Personalis, SeqWright, Complete Genomics, and Roche Diagnostics. Alan holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
