Rafiqul Islam has over 15 years of professional experience in software development. Rafiqul began their career in 2005 as a Developer for Advance Medical Institute, where they were responsible for analyzing requirements, designing application architecture, and managing projects. In 2007, they joined Balance Interactive as a Senior Software Developer. In 2010, they became the Lead Software Developer for AHL, where they leveraged existing applications to build new workflows on the #1 event planning site in Australia. In 2011, they moved to SocioGramics as Lead Software Developer. In 2012, they joined Ampush as Lead Engineer. In 2015, they became Technical Leader of the Cloud and IP Business Unit at Ericsson. Most recently, in 2019, they became Tech Lead at ClearCare.
Rafiqul Islam attended Monash University from 2003 to 2005, where they obtained a Master of Business Studies (MBS) in Computer Science. Prior to that, they attended the University of Dhaka from 1997 to 2003, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (Bsc) in Computer Science.
