Rob Bygrave

Rob Bygrave is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in Java development and technical leadership. Currently serving as Principal Engineer at EROAD since April 2023, Rob has also been a Technical Lead Developer at ClearPoint Ltd since August 2016, focusing on JVM-based services and continuous deployment with Kubernetes and Docker. As Project Lead for Ebean ORM since November 2006, Rob has worked to enhance object-relational mapping on the JVM, promoting usability and performance. Previous roles include consulting and feature development for Ebean ORM at Accolade, Inc. and various senior Java developer positions across several companies, beginning with a Java Developer role at Sky Television in 2010. Rob holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Science from The University of Auckland.
