Mitchel Nelson

Mitchel Nelson is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in compliance and trading. Currently, Mitchel serves as a Senior Compliance Officer at BMO Capital Markets since April 2020 and has held a similar position at Clearpool Group since June 2016, where Mitchel also worked as a Compliance Associate. Prior to these roles, Mitchel worked as a Prop Trader at T3 Trading Group, LLC, and as a Trader at WTS Proprietary Trading Group. With a strong foundation in trading, Mitchel held significant positions, including Director at Knight Capital Group and Vice President at Troster Singer Corporation, both of which were NASDAQ market-making firms. Mitchel earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Emory University between 1979 and 1983.
