Sara Barnwell is the Dean of Academic Operations at Cleary University. Sara has been with Cleary University since 2006 when she started as adjunct faculty, moving into a full-time role in 2007. Sara works across academics, athletics, admissions, finance, human resources, and technology to ensure a positive student experience. While most of Sara’s work is “behind the scenes”, she does enjoy teaching. Sara has taught classes in math, communications, and organizational behavior. Sara finds it rewarding to see students succeed and especially enjoys commencement day when students celebrate earning their degrees.
Sara has a PhD in Learning Design and Technology from Wayne State University, an MBA in Management from Cleary University, and a BA in Education from Michigan State University.
