Eryn Delaney

Assistant Director Of Student-athlete Mental Health at Clemson University

Eryn DeLaney, Ph.D., LP, currently serves as the Assistant Director of Student-Athlete Mental Health at Clemson University since July 2025. Previously, Eryn held positions as an Embedded Sport Psychologist at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and as a Postdoctoral Fellow in Sport Psychology at the same institution. Eryn's experience includes a Doctoral Psychology Internship specializing in athletics at Texas A&M Counseling and Psychological Services, as well as roles as a Graduate Research Assistant at Virginia Commonwealth University and various counseling positions within VCU and the University of Richmond. Eryn obtained a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology and a Master of Science in the same field from Virginia Commonwealth University, as well as a Master of Education with a focus on Sport and Career Psychology from the University of Missouri-Columbia, and dual bachelor's degrees in Psychology and Sociology from The University of Georgia.
