Kuang-Ching Wang

Provost Distinguished Professor at Clemson University

Kuang-Ching Wang serves as the Provost Distinguished Professor and C. Tycho Howle Chair in Collaborative Computing at Clemson University, where responsibilities encompass wireless networking, software defined networking, future internet architecture, and cloud computing systems since June 2004. Additionally, Kuang-Ching Wang holds a position as an adjunct professor in Public Health Sciences and has been the Networking CTO and Associate Director of Science and Technology at the Watt Family Innovation Center since July 2017. Previous experience includes work as a Member of Technical Staff at Big Switch Networks from July 2012 to May 2015, focusing on software defined networking and serving as the Floodlight release manager, as well as a visiting scholar at Stanford University in mid-2012. Kuang-Ching Wang earned a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and holds a BS/MS in Electrical Engineering from National Taiwan University.
