Margaret Owens is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in development and nonprofit leadership. Currently serving as the Executive Director of Development at Clemson University since August 2012, Margaret Owens focuses on securing resources for the College of Agriculture, Forestry and Life Sciences. Prior to this role, Margaret Owens was the Executive Director of North Strand Helping Hand from September 2007 to August 2012, where leadership was provided for an emergency crisis center in Horry County, SC. Margaret Owens also served as Executive Director for both the SC Cattlemen's Association and Beef Board from July 2004 to May 2007 and the South Carolina Soybean Board from 1996 to 2004. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Ag Education - Public Relations and a Bachelor of Science in Animal Sciences, both obtained from Clemson University.
