Sam Sampson

Sam Sampson is an experienced software and system engineer with a career spanning over two decades, primarily at Clemson University since August 1999. Sam currently serves as a Senior System Engineer and has previously held the position of Software Engineer, contributing to significant projects like the development of a Windows Client for the open-source parallel file system OrangeFS, as well as implementing PKI security modes. Earlier in career, Sam worked as a Software Engineer at CompuSoft Solutions, Inc., focusing on database and web-based front-ends for clients such as Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Additionally, Sam has experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in a freshman Computer Science course. Sam holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Clemson University and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Bob Jones University.
