Peter Kaiser

Peter Kaiser serves as the Chief Development Officer and Chief Medical Advisor for Retina at Ocular Therapeutix, Inc. since June 2022. With extensive experience at Cleveland Clinic since August 1997, Peter Kaiser holds multiple titles including Member of Consulting Staff, Co-Director of the Cole Eye Reading Center, and staff roles. Additionally, Peter Kaiser is the Chaney Family Endowed Chair in Ophthalmology Research and a Professor of Ophthalmology at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine. In sports medicine, Peter Kaiser has been the Team Physician for the Cleveland Cavaliers and previously for the Cleveland Browns. Editorial leadership is exemplified through the role of Editor in Chief for Retinal Physician from January 2012 to December 2024. Peter Kaiser also founded the Digital OCT Reading Center/Digital Angiography Reading Center and completed a Retina Surgical Fellowship at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute. Educational credentials include a medical degree from Harvard Medical School and a Bachelor of Arts in Neurobiology and Neurosciences from Harvard University.
