Ashley Boyd, MPA, has a diverse work experience spanning over 18 years. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at the Cleveland Public Library since March 2023. Prior to this, they served as a DEI Administrator at the Cuyahoga County Board of Developmental Disabilities from October 2021 to March 2023. Ashley also held various roles at the same organization, including Communication and Inclusion Supervisor (2017-2021), Habilitation Supervisor (2015-2017), Habilitation Manager (2012-2014), Program Coordinator (2010-2012), Support Administrator (2005-2010), and Adult Program Specialist (2005). Throughout their career, Ashley has demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing inclusive programs, overseeing budgets, and facilitating communication between individuals and professional departments.

Ashley Boyd earned their Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree from Cleveland State University in 2010. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from Kent State University, where they focused on Psychology with minors in Sociology and Justice Studies. Additionally, they hold a Diversity and Inclusion Certificate from Cornell University.
