Lexy Kmiecik is a seasoned library professional with extensive experience at Cleveland Public Library, where responsibilities have included managing day-to-day operations and fostering strong community partnerships since May 2012. Previous roles within the library system range from Assistant Branch Manager to Children's Librarian, showcasing a strong commitment to customer service and youth engagement through hands-on programming. Lexy has also gained experience as an intern at The Western Reserve Historical Society and as a Graduate Student Assistant at Kent State University, where skills in reference and cataloging were developed. A former Store Manager at Starbucks Coffee, Lexy demonstrated leadership in a high-volume retail environment while overseeing employee training and inventory management. Lexy holds a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science and a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, both from Kent State University.
