Caryn Candisky

Caryn Candisky has extensive experience in government relations and public affairs, currently serving as the Executive Director for Government Relations and Special Assistant to the President at Cleveland State University since January 2023. Prior to this role, Candisky held significant positions in the Office of U.S. Senator Rob Portman, including State Director and NE Ohio District Director, from January 2011 to December 2022. Candisky's professional background also features government affairs leadership at the Council of Smaller Enterprises and an earlier role in the Office of the Governor of Ohio as Assistant Communications Director. Candisky earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from The Ohio State University.
