Alesia Cain

Alesia Cain, PMP, possesses nearly 30 years of extensive experience in technology and transportation, currently serving as the Head of Umo Solutions and Market Development at Cubic Transportation Systems since June 2022. Alesia also holds the position of Vice President of Communications at COMTO New York and has been an active Chair and Vice Chair on various committees at the American Public Transportation Association since October 2019. Previously, Alesia directed technology and business consulting at Marine Tiger Technologies and served as Associate Principal and Executive Consultant at Ross & Baruzzini | MACRO. Notably, Alesia held multiple senior technology roles at Hampton Roads Transit from 2001 to 2019, culminating in the position of CIO & CTO, where responsibility encompassed comprehensive IT leadership across numerous transit operations. Alesia's career began as a Manager of Database Engineering while at Lightningcast and included independent consulting work to enhance data management systems at the U.S. Naval Academy. Alesia holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland.
