Laura Sarapuu obtained a Bachelor's degree in Public Economics from TalTech – Tallinn University of Technology from 2011 to 2014. In 2013, they also studied International Business at Dundalk Institute of Technology. Additionally, they obtained a certification as a Certified Public Accountant from the Estonian Auditors' Association in December 2021.
