Martin Choluj is the current VP of Security at ClickHouse. Martin has held this position since February of 2022. Prior to ClickHouse, Choluj served as the VP of Security & Trust for Campaign Monitor from May 2016 to February 2022. In this role, they were responsible for the end-to-end security function for a group of martech SaaS brands. Before their time at Campaign Monitor, Choluj worked as the Information Security Manager for the Reserve Bank of Australia from September 2015 to April 2016. In this role, they were brought in to improve maturity of security assurance practices around risk / threat assessments, security testing, code reviews and policy enforcement. From January 2012 to September 2015, Choluj served as Managing Consultant for Loop Secure. And from March 2008 to January 2012, they were the Head of Security for the Central Bank of Ireland. Choluj began their career in 2007 as a Security Engineer for Symantec.
Martin Choluj holds a Master's Degree in Security and Forensic Computing from Dublin City University, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology from the University of Silesia in Katowice. Martin also holds certification from GIAC in 9 different GIAC/SANS certifications, including GSE, GSTRT, GMON, GPEN, GWAPT, GCIH, GCIA, GSEC, and SSAP. In addition, they hold certification from (ISC)² in CISSP and CISSP-ISSMP.
