Greenhouse Associate

Clickstop has a beautiful greenhouse, right off Interstate 380, near Urbana IA, and we're looking for a Greenhouse Associate for our brand Pepper Joe’s. Home of the hottest pepper seeds, plants, and pods on the market!

• Hours: Part-Time - 8:00am – 12:00pm, Monday – Friday
• Starting Pay: $16.00/hr

What you’ll be doing:   

• Own and drive your role in the Pepper Joe’s business through proper care and production in the Greenhouse.  
• Manage greenhouse cleanliness & sanitation. 
• Assist with pepper harvesting, de-seeding, and packaging.
• Assist with shipping & order coordination. 
• Coordinate with the team to assist with pepper plant care. This includes planting, medium prep, pruning, fertilizer mixing, etc. 
• Assist with greenhouse equipment maintenance.
• Advocate & adhere to greenhouse PPE policy.
• Seek continuous improvement & alignment with greenhouse goals.

Physical Requirements:  

• Must be able to repeatedly lift 50lbs. This position requires constant movement and use of limbs. Must be able to engage in repetitive bending, kneeling, and squatting movements. 

What we value in this role:   

• Greenhouse related professional experience is a plus but not required.  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
• Confident in the utilization of math throughout daily work 
• Excellent planning and organizational skills
• Ability to record, organize and manage your workload 
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
