Mayo Kawano

Mayo Kawano is an experienced product developer with a strong background in food science and culinary arts. Currently employed at Clif Bar & Company since July 2022, Mayo has previously held positions as a product developer at Ripple Foods and as a food scientist at Ajinomoto Foods North America, Inc. Extensive early experience includes roles as a certified substitute teacher, test kitchen intern at Saveur Magazine, and line cook at ABC Kitchen, among others. Educational qualifications encompass a B.S. in Food Science and Technology from the University of California, Davis, and a Grand Diploma in Culinary Arts from the International Culinary Center.
