Climatebase
Youssef Osman, EIT, is a climate-focused professional currently serving as a Climatebase Founding Fellow since February 2022, recognized as one of 150 inaugural fellows in a prestigious climate career accelerator. Previously, Youssef worked as a Process Engineer at Rio Tinto from June 2023 to January 2024. Youssef has also held positions as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at The University of British Columbia in early 2020 and founded a multidisciplinary sub-team for sustainability competitions within UBC Sustaingineering. Additionally, Youssef participated in educational initiatives to promote sustainability among children and women in STEM, and contributed to rocket design as a Recovery Team member for UBC Rocket. Youssef holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Integrated Engineering from The University of British Columbia, attained in 2021.
