Nimra Amjad Chohan

Nimra Amjad Chohan is an accomplished professional in climate and environmental policy, currently serving as the Executive Director and co-founder of the Climate+Positive Investing Alliance since September 2023. With extensive experience in various organizations, Nimra has previously held positions such as Program Manager for IUCN's #NatureForAll initiative, Founding Director of the Pakistan Sustainability Network, and contributed as an organizing committee member for the Mayors for Peace 2020 Vision Campaign. Nimra's background includes roles as an Environment and Regulatory Analyst at Secure Energy Services Inc., Energy Analyst at the Pembina Institute, and Environment Officer at Shirkat Gah. An advocate for climate-positive investments and sustainability, Nimra possesses a Master's degree in Global Climate and Energy Policy from SOAS University of London, supplemented by a degree in Environmental Science from Mount Royal University.
