Adelaide Calbry-Muzyka

Adelaide Calbry-Muzyka is a Senior Development Specialist at Climeworks since November 2019, focusing on the design and evaluation of adsorption-based processes for CO2 capture from air, and leading joint R&D projects with external partners. Prior to this role, Adelaide served as a Senior and Process Engineer for Adsorption at Paul Scherrer Institut PSI, where research centered on biomass conversion to renewable methane and electricity, particularly in the purification of biogas. Experience also includes a doctoral research focus on carbon capture systems and teaching at Stanford University, complemented by engineering work at 6DOT, where Adelaide contributed to the development of a Braille labeler prototype. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University, alongside a B.S. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
