Syrie Crouch

Syrie Crouch is a seasoned professional in the energy sector, currently serving as a Board Member at Climeworks and Chief Executive Officer at Xiron Global Ltd, both as of December and September 2023, respectively. Crouch also contributes as an Advisory Board Member at Nuada. Previously, Crouch held multiple leadership roles at Shell from 1990 to May 2023, including Vice President for Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS), where responsibilities included managing Shell's global CCS portfolio, and Vice President for Development in Upstream Operated, overseeing activities from discovery to production across multiple international locations. Crouch's extensive experience in geological modeling and project leadership in the oil and gas industry is complemented by academic credentials including an MSc in Mineral Exploration from Imperial College London and a BSc in Geology from the University of Exeter.
